SNOW PEAK

Founded in 1958 by Yukio Yamai in the Niigata Prefecture of Japan, Snow Peak’s authentic heritage, design ethos, and attention to functional details help make them a global outdoor lifestyle creator.

Since 1999, Snow Peak has been sharing its decades of expertise and craftsmanship in the United States where they have continued to grow from their base in Portland, Oregon.

While on the leg of our Pacific Northwest route, one y one had the pleasure to pick up some more of their products from the flagship store and work with their US marketing team to share our travel experience and favorite recipes along the way.

one y one partnered with Snow Peak to create a sweet-and-savory take on a classic Mexican dish. We added the PNW ingredient of locally-picked apples from a fruit stand up the road from Mt. Rainier National Park.

Cooked both on the Takibi Fire & Grill and on the Iron Grill Table stove, this meal will have you bouncing back and forth as you enjoy your morning coffee.
