When Kendra’s family first moved to Michigan in 1991, this was their home for the first couple of years. After 10+ years of renters gone wrong, the house sat vacant for the past 15+ years.

There are more holes in the roof and walls than in a Wiffle ball, which explains the feasts of shucked walnuts, cozy nests made of insulation, and piles of sh!t.

Making cosmetic upgrades to the interior of our Airstream was easy compared to tackling an entire demolition process on an abandoned house. Nonetheless, with a lot of Youtube tutorials and countless hours of sweat, we’re making progress.
